"The Cyan and White variant of the Shahjalal International shopping bag represents the brand’s core identity: Trust and Clarity. By utilizing a clean white canvas paired with refreshing cyan gradients, this design emphasizes the tagline 'Never break promise.' It is crafted for a professional retail experience where minimalism speaks louder than complexity. The use of ample white space ensures that the brand logo remains the undisputed hero, reflecting a sense of organized professionalism and modern reliability."


Focus: High-Impact Retail & Modern Graphics

"Designed for maximum visibility in a crowded marketplace, the Yellow and Black edition is all about Energy and Boldness. This variant takes a more graphic approach, featuring a large-scale outline of the brand icon on the side panel to create an urban, 'street-style' aesthetic. The high-contrast color palette is scientifically proven to grab attention instantly, making it the perfect choice for high-traffic retail environments. It’s not just a bag; it’s a vibrant brand statement that is impossible to ignore."

"The Red and Black edition is designed for the Premium Tier of Shahjalal International’s product line. Utilizing a deep, passionate red paired with sophisticated diagonal stripes, this design evokes a sense of luxury and exclusivity. The dark side panels provide a grounded, 'high-end' feel, while the textured patterns add a layer of dynamic movement. This variant is tailored for customers who value prestige, ensuring that the act of carrying the bag becomes part of a premium shopping experience."

The Challenge

The challenge was to translate a corporate identity into a functional retail item that acts as a mobile billboard. The design needed to be eye-catching from a distance while housing essential contact information and a QR code for digital engagement without looking cluttered.

Design Approach & Case Study

I focused on creating a visual language that balances bold aesthetics with corporate professionalism:

  • Color Story & Versatility: I developed three distinct color palettes:

    • Classic White & Cyan: Represents trust, clarity, and the core corporate identity.

    • Bold Yellow & Black: Designed for high visibility and an energetic, modern retail feel.

    • Sophisticated Red & Black: Features a diagonal striped pattern to evoke a sense of luxury and premium quality.

  • Iconography & Logo Placement: The brand icon is placed prominently at the top, ensuring instant recognition. For the yellow version, I used a large-scale outline of the icon on the side panel to add a modern, "street-style" graphic element.

  • Information Architecture: Retail bags often get cluttered. I solved this by placing the detailed contact information and the QR code at the bottom and on the side gussets. This keeps the main faces of the bag clean and impactful.

  • Print-Ready Finishing: The designs were created with high-quality printing in mind, utilizing gradients, solid blocks, and precise line work that remains sharp on various paper textures.

  • Mockup Presentation: Using a 3D isometric mockup allowed me to demonstrate how the light hits the different surfaces, highlighting the structure and the "premium feel" of the final product.
