Fresh & Delicious Seafood – Social Media Advertising Design
Project Overview
This project involved creating a high-conversion social media promotional flyer for a premium seafood restaurant. The goal was to capture the viewer's attention instantly on a crowded social media feed (Instagram/Facebook) and drive sales through a clear value proposition and appetizing visuals.

The Challenge
In the food industry, "Visual Hunger" is the key. The challenge was to make a healthy seafood salad look exciting and premium while ensuring that the promotional offers—like the 35% discount and Free Home Delivery—were highly legible and wouldn't be missed by a scrolling user.
Design Approach & Case Study
I focused on a "Center-Weighted" composition to ensure maximum impact:
The Visual Hook (Ripple Effect): To make the plate of food "pop," I designed a glowing cyan ripple effect emanating from the center. This not only acts as a visual bullseye, drawing the eye directly to the food, but also subtly references the "water/ocean" origin of the seafood.
Color Psychology & Typography: I chose a vibrant Yellow for the main title "SEAFOOD" and key offers. Yellow is scientifically proven to stimulate appetite and stands out perfectly against the dark, textured background. The bold, modern sans-serif typeface gives the brand a contemporary, urban feel.
Background Texture: Instead of a flat black background, I used a dark, textured surface with repetitive "SEAFOOD" typography at low opacity. This adds a "designer touch" and premium depth to the overall aesthetic without distracting from the main subject.
Promotional Hierarchy: The hierarchy is carefully balanced. The "35% OFF" is placed at the bottom center to act as the final "closer" for the sale, while the "Call for Order" is positioned for easy access.
Product Photography: I performed color correction on the food image to enhance the saturation of the salmon and the greens of the salad, making the dish look fresh, vibrant, and ready to eat.
Tools Used
Adobe Photoshop: For photo manipulation, glow effects, and layout design.
Digital Imaging: Color grading and sharpening for food photography.
